Project Description
Hydraulics rely on a motor-driven pump to propel pressurized fluid via hoses or tubes through the system under pressure. In a heavy construction machine, the fluid passes through valves and enters a cylinder, which converts hydraulic energy into mechanical energy. The valves also help to direct the flow of the liquid and regulate pressure as needed. Hydraulic systems control the function of many components in heavy machinery. They enable booms to swing, lift arms to move upward and buckets to scoop dirt and other materials. They also play a significant role in the drive system’s operation, which allows the engine to perform efficiently.
